Heritage walk Bhaktapur 

The square contains a royal palaces, stupas and temples. The Palaces that took centre stage as one of three royal capitals during the 15th century in the Kathmandu Valley. One of the largest ancient squares in Nepal filled to the brim with temples, cultural carvings and buildings.  Out of the temples, Nyatapola  is the tallest temple in all Nepal and listed as one of the tallest buildings in Bhaktapur. Many people doubt how such a magnificent temple could have been built in only 7 months. However, the Nyatapola temple is one of the few buildings in Nepal with very accurate daily records which have documented its construction called the Siddhagni Kotyahuti Devala Pratistha manuscript.

Meal at Krishnarpan

Krishnarpan literally translates to “Offering to the god Krishna.” This becomes even more apparent as you told about the traditional practice where Nepalese families would put aside food at the beginning of each day as an offer to God Krishna, as a sign of gratitude and for good luck. Therefore, at this restaurant, they add a small leaf shaped plate in your table settings and advise you to offer up a small gift to God Kishnu during the first course. It consists of 22 Course (18 Starters, Steamed dumplings, Soup, Main Course, and Dessert & Tea/Coffee)

Heritage walk of Patan

A heritage walk through the palace square one home to the ruling kings Keshab Narayan Chowk Museum. The walk takes you through Krishna Mandir, Teleju Bell, Vshwanath temple – dedicated to the manifestation of Shiva. The temple was built between 1676- 78 during a time when King Siddhi Narsingh witnessed the moguls destroy the Vishwanath Temple in Banaras. Bhimsen Mandir Temple, dedicated to the Newari god of traders Bhimsen and Bhandarkhal Tank – the rear fully restored Bhandarkhal tank or pond is amazing to look over. Built in 1667 it was once Durbar Squares main supply of water.

Mountain flight

The mountain flight takes off from Kathmandu domestic airport and lands at the same airport. This flight is perfect for those who will not make any landing in the Mountain area as the main objective of this flight to show the peak of Mount Everest including other major peaks. This flight will not land anywhere and all you will see the aerial view of the peaks. The flight– covers the incredible mountain ranges, glaciers and gorges of the Himalayan region, so you can expect to spend an hour approx. in awe over these striking sights. Best Time To Travel

October to December is the best time to visit Nepal. January and February are very cold especially at night. April is hot and from May onwards it will be hot and humid leading to the monsoons between June to August

December, January and February

The weather in  Nepal is pleasant during these months, temperatures drop significantly at night time, particularly in the mountain areas. January is the coldest month and most of the hotels offer blankets, hot water bottles and fireplaces to keep you warm.

March, April and May

March marks the beginning of spring and May is one of the warmest in the whole year. March is the month when rhododendrons bloom. The days in March and April are long thus making perfect for trekking, although temperatures are still cool at night. May is one of the warmest months of the year. The country celebrate Holi during March.

June, July, and August – Monsoon begins in June and continue till August. The days are warm, wet with high humidity.

September, October and November

Monsoon recedes in September and give way to fresh air, clear sky and beautiful mountain views.  October and November are the best months for the visits.

Visa Information

Immigration Office, TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) under Department of Immigration has been facilitating tourists flying to Nepal by providing Visa on Arrival. ‘On Arrival’ visa procedure is very quick and simple. You can expect some queues during peak Tourist season. If you wish to skip those queues, you can also consider getting Visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions stationed abroad prior to your arrival. If you have obtained visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions, then you must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter into Nepal.

Tourist Visa ‘On Arrival’ is the only entry visa to Nepal. If you are visiting Nepal for the purposes other than Tourism (sightseeing, tour, travel, mountaineering, trekking, visiting friends and families), you should still get ‘ Tourist Visa’ to get into the country.  However, you must change the category of visa as per your purpose and length of stay in Nepal from Department of Immigration by producing required documents. Please follow these simple procedures for Tourist Visa on Arrival at the airport (TIA)  if you have not acquired Visa prior to boarding the plane.

1st  Step

  • Fill in ‘ Arrival Card ‘
  • Fill in Online ‘Tourist Visa ‘form ( you can fill it up  prior to your arrival  visiting our official website  Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport).  If you fill it from the website, you will get submission Receipt with barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after.  If so, you will have to fill it up again.

2nd  Step  

  • Make payment  at the bank according to your visa requirement ( 15/30/90 Days)
  • Get the receipt

While you can use different modes of payments (at visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash, to be on the safe side.

On Arrival Visa Fee at Entry Points

15 Days – 30 USD

30 Days – 50 USD

90 Days – 125 USD

3rd Step  

  • Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form,  payment receipts and your passport
  • Hand in your documents to immigration officer for visa processing. He/she issues visa to you upon his/her satisfaction.
